Angela is Better Renting’s Chief Executive Officer, with a strong background in consumer advocacy and public health. She previously managed policy and advocacy at Asthma Australia and led campaigns at CHOICE. With experience across government and corporate sectors, Angela was also on the board of the Climate and Health Alliance. Angela is passionate about the intersections between housing, equity, climate, and health.

Bernie is Better Renting's Deputy Director. She has a background in consumer and lived experience advocacy and leadership. She most recently worked with peak bodies across health, mental health lived experience, and LGBTQIA+ advocacy in South Australia. Bernie has a strong focus on social justice and brings her passion for community-driven change and systemic advocacy together into her work at Better Renting. She is a 2022 Australian Progress Fellow.

Selden is Better Renting’s Digital Organiser. She has a background in campus and anti-austerity organising, coalition-building, electoral campaigning, and workplace labour organising. She also has experience in producing a variety of media, including video and audio production, photography, and print and digital design.
