Why are laws and taxes designed to benefit property investors, not people who rent? 

Politicians don’t know what life is like for people who rent, and property investors are powerful. We need to share our stories to show what renters experience and show the diversity of the renting community. And we need to build our own power - by connecting with each other - to win rental laws that provide us with decent homes.

This is the idea of TenantTalks. Hosts put on an event - in their home or community - to bring together other renters to share their experiences of renting. Then we'll bring all the contributions together in a single report to show what matters to renters. We can use this to help change renting laws in the ACT and around Australia.
