TenantTalks Host Guide

Thank you for signing up to host a TenantTalk.

Across Australia, tenants are being ignored. Our rental laws worked when renting was temporary and most people could afford to buy a home. But now, more Australians are locked out of homeownership. And renting is an inferior experience – it’s less stable, less affordable, and you have fewer rights.

Why isn’t this changing? Because politicians are listening to the real estate lobby and property investors instead of the growing number of people living in rental homes. But we renters can change this. By getting together, sharing our stories, and making our voices heard, we can make renting better. It has happened around the world. It has happened before, right here in Australia. And it can happen again.

Thank you for your support. We can’t do it without you.
